Above is a poster (in progress) to promote an SPCA adoption day at a shopping center on the Eastern Shore in Virginia. This project has a small budget so I started on a quest to find free photography of cats and dogs (as the SPCA's database of animal photos were, although adorable, low resolution, and certainly not professional grade photography). After a little photoshop magic we now have nice professional-looking photography for a fraction of the price. I'm excited to see how the piece turns out!
We just returned from a nice long visit in Chile and I took a lot of photographs there to use as reference material for some future oil paintings. I'm working on a landscape now to get the ball rolling. This is an "in progress" shot but I hope to create a nice series of Chile inspired countryside landscapes this winter/spring.
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of working with Perrine Svejda, a firm responsible for more than $300 million in current and past commercial real estate investment, development and asset management for clients in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest U.S. After meeting with the company principals to discuss their branding objectives, I completed a logo and corporate identity package for them.
Earlier last month my client, Footzyrolls, was featured in December's Oprah Magazine in their holiday gift guide. I found out yesterday that the product was featured on Thursday's Good Morning America. I designed Footzyroll's logo and web site template, and all illustrations on the packaging (you can see the packaging in the background when they talk about the product). 1.5 million people visited their web site to make purchases after the show aired which is really exciting.
